Catherine is dedicated to develop students as all-round musicians, and to foster their interest in music. She believes that in order to train a student as a musician, he or she must be trained in all aspects of music, such as sight reading, ear-training, improvising, transposing and performing etc. Being a musician is not about playing the right note at the right time, but it is about communicating with others through music. Catherine will tailor curriculum to each student’s needs and learning style, so each student may get the most out of the lesson, and at the same time have fun! Catherine does not teach only notes, but music. She will make learning music fun, interesting, and enjoyable so students may discover the beauty of music.
Also available as accompanist and event pianist.
