Catherine offers private piano or theory lesson in her studio located in Aurora, Ontario.
The teacher will tailor curriculum to each student’s needs and learning style, below are some examples:

– RCM Exam
– Recreational/ Self-enjoyment
– Theory
– Contemporary music/ playing in a band/ improvisation

**These curricula are not necessarily exclusive to each other. It only represents the primary focus of the lesson

Suggested length of lesson:
– 30 minutes for beginners age 5-7
– 45 minutes for beginners 7 and older
– 60 minutes or more for RCM syllabus
Catherine is dedicated to develop students as all-round musicians, and to foster their interest in music. She believes that in order to train a student as a musician, he or she must be trained in all aspects. The following elements will be included in her lessons:
– Reading music
– Composing music
– Technique
– Theory and music history
– Sightreading
– Ear-training
– Transposing
– Music analysis
– Playing with artistry
– Discovering the beauty of music
