Please do not come to the studio if you or your family have any signs of fever, cough, or respiratory illness. Student’s temperature may be checked before entry. Parents will be asked to pick up the student if he or she develops any symptoms during the lesson
Socks are required inside the studio
Please do not ring the doorbell upon arrival. Kindly wait in your car or on the porch.
There will be no washroom access inside the studio. Student should visit the bathroom prior to lesson
Students should be picked up within 5 minutes of the class end time
Participation in the spring recital is mandatory.
Inclement weather
Piano lesson will not be canceled on inclement weather days, but can be converted into a virtual lesson.
Student requirement
1) Promptness – any missed lesson time due to lateness will not be credited or made up
2) Respect your teacher and other people in the studio
3) No food or drink allowed (except for water)
4) Trimmed nails and clean hands
5) Silent your cell phone or any electronic devices
6) All books/ material must be ready
7) Assignments from the previous week must be completed
8) Try your best and celebrate improvements
9) Attend at least 42 lessons every year
Payment
Tuition is due at the first lesson of the month, or no later than the 10th of the month, by cash or e-transfer. Late fee of $10 will apply if the payment is not received before the due date.
Lesson Cancellation
Make-up lesson will only be arranged with 24 hour notice.
Summer absence/ Fall registration
Student’s lesson spot will be reserved for the next academic year (September – June) with a minimum of 4 summer lessons (during July and August). Student can also reserve their lesson spot if the September lessons (4 classes) are paid in advance by the end of June.
Absence
If the student is away for more than 2 consecutive weeks, the lesson spot may be released to the next student on the waiting list. You may hold your lesson spot by pre-paying for the next 4 sessions/ next month instalment (fully credited back to your lesson fee).
